Updating an Old Blog Template

Blogging againI had stopped blogging for several months in order to reconnect via Facebook with some friends I hadn’t seen in eons. Also, this was the chance for me to take a break from blogging after more than 200 articles. But, now that the novelty of the social network starts to wind down, I’ve finally returned to my blog. The last time I posted, my blog was using an old theme. It’s kind of outdated, so I search for some interesting templates with three-column features with Adsense optimization. I found it. It’s called ProSense template.

Why ProSense theme?

There are several free templates with similar functions, but I decided to choose ProSense. The design is simple and easy to navigate. The main attraction for me to use this template is the ability to optimize Google adSense advertisements. Although thetrendsetter.org had been idle for more than six months, the articles I wrote are still getting many visitors. I decided it was about time to put relevant ads to generate some residual income. If you want to find out more about writing or any other topics that are relevant to you, the ads from the selected sponsors could be helpful. However, I recommend you read my privacy policy for more info.

How to make ProSense as your blog template

If you are interested to use ProSense as your blog template, you can do so by logging in into your WordPress account. If it’s not available, you can always download it from www.thewrongadvices.com to your computer and upload it to your web host account. Remember, this template is old, and if you’re currently using the latest version of the WordPress template, chances are you’ll be facing some incompatibility issues. Please backup your content as a precaution.

Since I used this template, I added “share it” plugins for online visitors to share the articles with friends on Facebook, Twitter, email and other venues for social networks.

It’s time to spruce up my blog again.

UPDATE: I like ProSense, but this theme hasn’t been updated for quite some time by the designer. While waiting, I decided to get this new template titled, “Magazine Basic”. I’ll blog about it in the near future. So, stay tuned.
