Spring is in the air
Can you smell or feel it? There is something in the air! Yes! The spring is in the air! Or am I just imagining it because the winter is too long, too cold and too much snow? Well, at least here in New England, it is. One thing for sure though, the days are starting to get noticeably longer, yippee!!
Okay, back to my blog. I was a total crap. I can’t get my blog going consistently. It is my fault. I know. Being someone else in my day job and writing mostly technical and analytical and then switching it into the creative writing mode in a matter of minutes totally wreck my brain. It’s hard and my creative side just dies no matter how hard I try to continue to write. Has this happened to you too? At least I am not the only one.
So, that is my dilemma right now. I completed my short story and am now looking for a place to publish it and to see what happens next. I have tons of ideas written in my notebook. I just can’t turn them into short stories. I know I can’t force my left brain to cooperate when it’s just recuperating from severe abuse when editing my short story. It need time to heal. So here I am, rambling in my blog, to get something written for February. Isn’t it pathetic?
Seriously, every writer has their own style or way to start writing again after they’ve completed their fiction. I heard some writers go bonkers when they finish their writing and everyone scatters around and leaves them alone.
I hope to be able to write again - soon. I am sick and tired of writing computer script and writing computer language, but I have no choice. This is part of my business as an entrepreneur. You see, I am kind of half geek and half creative writer. A Gemini - no less.
