First vs. Third Person Points of View

So, it has been almost two months since I completed my short story and I’m still working on improving it so it looks like it was written by someone who knows how to write fiction. Well, it’s almost there and I’m still trying to find a way to improve the story’s depth. So far, I’ve polished the characters and each has a life. As far as the theme is concerned, I figured it’s really tied to the characters or plot. So, I also summarized the theme for my own reference. I also improved the dialogues so it has more slants and not bores the reader.

Spring is in the air

happy spring!

Can you smell or feel it? There is something in the air! Yes! The spring is in the air! Or am I just imagining it because the winter is too long, too cold and too much snow? Well, at least here in New England, it is. One thing for sure though, the days are starting to get noticeably longer, yippee!!

Okay, back to my blog. I was a total crap. I can’t get my blog going consistently. It is my fault. I know. Being someone else in my day job and writing mostly technical and analytical and then switching it into the creative writing mode in a matter of minutes totally wreck my brain. It’s hard and my creative side just dies no matter how hard I try to continue to write. Has this happened to you too? At least I am not the only one.
