Resources for Bloggers: Only a click away
Other than visiting sites of writers online, I am also checking out other bloggers’ sites to read their tips about blogging as well as to seek advice on how to maintain and take care of the technical side of blogging. Since I am using the wordpress.org green widgetize template, I seek blogs that explain how to customize the template to suit my purpose as well as for plugins to simplify the task. I’m also seeking other blog tips in general.
So far I’ve found the following sites to help with the technical side of blogging:
1. Daily Blog Tips – Very helpful articles about how to improve your blog. Most of the articles are written about design, promotion, SEO, monetization, Wordpress, etc.
2. Optiniche – Catered for wordpress blog template users. This site has a lot of advice on how to make the most of your template and marketing as well.
3. Copy Blogger- Copywriting tips for online marketing success. The blog author, Brian Clark, has some excellent tips for blogging and how to be a successful blogger.
4. Blogger Bingo – There is a lot of advice on this blog for beginning bloggers. You can check their categories from bog management to writing tips.
5. Dagon Design and Andrew Ferguson – These two sites have plugins that I currently installed on my wordpress blog. I used both the Dagon Design sitemap and the contact us plugins. I also used the Force User Field Registration plugin by Andrew Ferguson. These plugins are great.
