Writer’s Links: Writing sites

Every Friday, I will list several sites for you to help ignite your writing and help you to write everyday. I have personally bookmarked these sites and visit them whenever I need more information about writing. Here are my favorite sites this week:

1. www.creativewritingprompts.com – If you have trouble with writer’s block, you can visit this site and use their prompts to help you to start writing a story. It is very helpful to get your ideas to flow. Sherry, the owner of this site, has many more websites dedicated to writers.

2. www.youwriteon.com – The free website to help new writers develop, and to help talented writers get noticed and published. This site has a peer review for your writing and chances to get published.

3. www.novalearn.com – The writer’s resource site. This site has many articles you can read and help you to ignite your writing.

4. www.nicholassparks.com – Writer’s website. He is the writer of the best seller “The Notebook”. I read a lot of the advice he wrote in this site and I can relate it to the challenges he mentions during the process of writing.

5. www.susanshapiro.net – Another writer’s website. I just started to read one of her books “Five Men Who Broke My Heart”. I like her writing style – very direct and funny. She also teaches writing in NYC.

You can add these sites on your lists. Also, you can check out the numerous links on these sites for many of them may be relevant to you as well. Happy writing!
